KNOWING GOD: 2017 PRAYER & FASTING

Victory together with Every Nation will have Prayer & Fasting on January 9-13, 2017. I'm now on my second day of fasting.

 Fast means abstain from all or some kinds of food or drink especially as a religious observance while Prayer means a solemn request for help or expression of thanks addressed to God or an object of worship.

 Over the years while doing this, countless testimonies - salvation, healing, financial provision, freedom from addictions, business turnarounds, job promotions, clear direction, and restored relationships - that result from answered prayers during this week of consecration.

 A verse in the Bible can explain this:
"Declare a holy fast; call a sacred assembly. Summon the elders and all who live in the land to the house of the Lord your God and cry out to the Lord."
- Joel 1:14

Erwin Macua This guy is all over the news both in Cebu and reached national news too. I know him because he is one of my Dads in College. Yes, I'm a Theresian & I'm proud to be one. Kuya Erwin Macua worked as a security guard in St. Theresa's College Cebu for 17 years. I remembered during my freshmen year that he would check on me all the time. He doesn't do that to me but to all Theresians he met. He would constantly remind to prioritize studies because its what you can give back to your parents. There are times when I have 7:30am classes in the morning & I would be in school a hour early so I stayed with him in the guardhouse & catch up on him.
