KNOWING GOD: 2017 PRAYER & FASTING Victory together with Every Nation will have Prayer & Fasting on January 9-13, 2017. I'm now on my second day of fasting. Fast means abstain from all or some kinds of food or drink especially as a religious observance while Prayer means a solemn request for help or expression of thanks addressed to God or an object of worship. Over the years while doing this, countless testimonies - salvation, healing, financial provision, freedom from addictions, business turnarounds, job promotions, clear direction, and restored relationships - that result from answered prayers during this week of consecration . A verse in the Bible can explain this: "Declare a holy fast; call a sacred assembly.
