HIATUS THE SECOND TIME AROUND

Image
Photo Credits This will be my first post for the second half of 2017. You see I'm on a hiatus for a long time. Its because I have to deal with personal battles and I need time to heal too. As a human being, there are times when we need to slow down and reflect. That is when I had to be away. Along the way, I learn not to give in to negativity and be an adult. Not a kid anymore because I'm already entering my mid-20's. Yes it is to new challenges and revisiting the goals I made at the start of the year. I would thank people who helped me out through out this moment & here is to more of the positive SweetSourGirl Cebu. By the way, more blogs will be in all the way so keep posted for it ☺ xoxo, SweetSourGirl Cebu

CAST AWAY BUT NOW BACK STRONGER

Image
Photo Credits This would be my first blog post for the month of May 2017. I admit I had to deal with personal battles and also events which it didn't go well. I had to be away to find myself and heal from what happen. Yes! It was not easy. There are times that I had to cry but I'm happy that there are people who help me out through all these events. These people are the ones a person should treasure because no matter what happens, they are there for you in good times or bad times in your life.   After these, I came in stronger and back in fighting form. The photo can explain that. Mulan is my favorite Disney princess and her story is similar to what's going on except the matchmaker part and love story. Mine was about family and commitments. Above all these, I would say I didn't have a good start entering my Mid-20's but I know I can surpass this with flying colors. How are you? Don't worry when you notice people tearing you apart, continue to ...

FEELING LOST

Image
Photo Credits This is the last day of February 2017 and as I reflect on whats going on for this month, I feel lost. Let's first understand the meaning of Lost. According to  Merriam Webster Dictionary , these are some of the definitions of lost: The one in number five applies to me. As I reflected I'm not that focused. Yes, let's admit that once or there are times in our lives that we get to divert our direction. I do notice that lately. Which is a good thing because you get to realize many things along the way. By the way, NEVER EVER STAY A DISTANCE IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. That also happened. It was last Sunday, February 26, 2017 that I went back to church but this time in Victory Mandaue during 3 o' clock in the afternoon service. In the opening worship song, I cried when these lyrics pop: Worship Song: Heart Open Wide Singer: Citipointe Video Credits (I took the screenshots) I know that God created me to have a purpose here on ea...

SINULOG 2017

Image
I’m sorry for not posting my daily devotionals & blog entries over the Sinulog weekend. I have a hard time getting internet connection since National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) have all network signals blocked for January 14 & 15, 2017 here in Cebu City. This is for everyone’s safety especially Cebuanos.  Even no network is available, everyone is downloading FireChat app. (I downloaded it & later uninstall it since I’ll just be home for the whole weekend). You might think I’m not enjoying the festivities. I’m actually enjoying especially seeing the festival on the television which for me is safe. Yes, one of the reasons I’m staying home is security after what’s going on during Christmas Holidays in Leyte & Cotabato (correct me if I’m wrong with the place mentioned) & bad experience of unruly people on the streets (Hoping that people now would learn to party with responsibility & not the other way around).  So for the whole weekend, what...
