January 31, 2017 Devotional: Abilities
I'm really good at certain things. Can God use those abilities as I serve him?
God's Response:
"The master was full of praise. "Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let's celebrate together!"

But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return and when someone has been trusted with much, even more will be required.

So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

God's Promise:
To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away.

Each of us is unique and we are created in God's image and likeness. With that we also have a gift given by God & we should use them with responsibility. You maybe good in managing a business, managing finances, cooking, speaking and the list goes on. Bear in mind to use your abilities in bringing honor and glory to God.
