January 12, 2017 Devotional: Heavenly Riches

 What does it mean that God promises heavenly riches? Can I really believe that?

 God's Response:
That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who loved him."

Jesus replied, "You have said it. And in the future you will see the Son of Man seated in the place of power at God's right hand and coming on the clouds of heaven.

Why you have to be afraid of the future when you are assured of God's promises? God has plans for you which is beyond what you imagine. Remember to be confident in God's promise for you to have eternal life because it gives you courage & hope in your life now & changes the choices you make everyday.

Erwin Macua This guy is all over the news both in Cebu and reached national news too. I know him because he is one of my Dads in College. Yes, I'm a Theresian & I'm proud to be one. Kuya Erwin Macua worked as a security guard in St. Theresa's College Cebu for 17 years. I remembered during my freshmen year that he would check on me all the time. He doesn't do that to me but to all Theresians he met. He would constantly remind to prioritize studies because its what you can give back to your parents. There are times when I have 7:30am classes in the morning & I would be in school a hour early so I stayed with him in the guardhouse & catch up on him. Also, there are times I would treat him breakfast since the both of us didn't have breakfast yet.
