How can I guard and protect my heart?

God's Response:
Above all else, guard your heart, for it affects everything you do.

Sometimes we give in to temptation and evil desires without knowing we are already hurting ourselves. Today's devotional is timely because it is LOVE MONTH & God tells us to GUARD OUR HEART. Guard you heart means to protect your heart from temptation and evil desires that can distance you from God. In this world it is hard to do so. But when you have committed yourself to love God, this can help you to make a step towards him and keep you a distance from temptation.

Erwin Macua This guy is all over the news both in Cebu and reached national news too. I know him because he is one of my Dads in College. Yes, I'm a Theresian & I'm proud to be one. Kuya Erwin Macua worked as a security guard in St. Theresa's College Cebu for 17 years. I remembered during my freshmen year that he would check on me all the time. He doesn't do that to me but to all Theresians he met. He would constantly remind to prioritize studies because its what you can give back to your parents. There are times when I have 7:30am classes in the morning & I would be in school a hour early so I stayed with him in the guardhouse & catch up on him.
