MARCH 29, 2017 DEVOTIONAL: BEING NEIGHBORLY

March 28, 2017 Devotional: Being Neighborly

How should I live among my non-Christian neighbors?

God's Response:
If you see your neighbor's ox or sheep or goat wandering away, don't ignore your responsibility. Take it back to its owner. Do the same if you find your neighbor's donkey, clothing, or anything else your neighbor loses. Don't ignore your responsibility.
- Deuteronomy 22:1,3 NLT

Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see you honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world.
- 1 Peter 2:12, NLT

Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone.
- Colossians 45-6, NLT

God's Promise:
Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.
- Romans 15:7, NLT

Reflection (made by the blogger herself):
When someone is in need we do have doubts if we should help or not. We hope that there will be others who would do it. God reminds us that we are compassionate and active people, ready to go an extra mile to be good neighbors.
