September 17, 2017 Devotional: Character
People say that a Christian should have "good character." What does it mean?
God's Response:
You are a holy people, who belong to the Lord your God. Of all the people on earth, the Lord your God has chosen you to be his own special treasure.
- Deuteronomy 7:6, NLT
So God created Human Beings In his own Image.
- Genesis 1:27, NLT
God's Promise:
Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever.
- Daniel 12:3, NLT

God made us in His own image. Each one of us is unique. We have potential to display God's characteristics such as loving, truthful, patient, kind, forgiving, kind and faithful. Being made in God's image doesn't mean being a god , or even godly, but we have God's characteristics in us. We'll use them to honor Him & benefit others.
